An independent sustainability and engineering consultancy is looking to hire an Energy Consultant to support the delivery of lowâcarbon building strategies across a varied project portfolio.
The Role
You will work on new build and refurbishment projects, providing energy modelling, compliance and performance advice to inform design decisions and decarbonisation strategies. The role blends handsâon technical delivery with clientâfacing consultancy.
What You Will Do
- Develop energy and carbon strategies for buildings
- Deliver modelling using IES VE and SAP
- Undertake Part L, EPC and overheating assessments (TM52, TM59, Part O)
- Support daylight and natural ventilation studies
- Translate technical outputs into clear advice for clients
- Contribute to reports, proposals and project meetings
What They Are Looking For
- Degree in engineering or a related discipline
- 2+ years' experience in energy or sustainability consultancy
