Heritage Consultant – North of England (Hybrid Working)

A specialist heritage consultancy is seeking a mid-level Heritage Consultant (c.3–5 years’ experience) to join its growing northern team. Based in North Yorkshire with hybrid working, the role involves delivering heritage and archaeological advice across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects.

Key requirements:

  1. Relevant degree or equivalent experience
  2. Strong understanding of UK heritage planning policy
  3. Proven track record in heritage assessments and impact analysis
  4. Excellent communication and report writing skills
  5. Full UK driving licence
  6. CIfA and/or IHBC membership (or working towards)

You\’ll work on a diverse portfolio of projects, liaise with clients and planning authorities, and contribute to the consultancy’s continued success as an employee-owned business.
