Job Summary: Experienced Sustainability Manager – 2 Year Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: 35 per week, Hybrid working available
This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to a major climate resilience and sustainability project within a large public sector organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the delivery of ambitious climate goals, including achieving net zero carbon emissions (Scope 1 & 2 by 2027; Scope 3 by 2040).
*
Lead on the adoption, monitoring, and reporting of sustainability design standards across capital construction projects.
*
Engage with internal teams and external partners to ensure sustainability standards are met.
*
Implement and oversee sustainability initiatives across a varied property portfolio, including offices, markets, schools, public spaces, and emergency services buildings.
Requirements:

A degree in architecture, engineering, low carbon building design, or a related field.
*
Strong experience delivering sustainability outcomes in large construction projects through all RIBA stages.
