GreenJets is a growing and innovative organisation committed to operational excellence and delivering outstanding service. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team and ensure our payroll processes run accurately and efficiently.

The Role

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for managing payroll activities, maintaining employee records, and ensuring all payroll-related processes are completed accurately and on time. You will work closely with HR and Finance teams to support employees and maintain compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
  • Calculate statutory payments, deductions, overtime, bonuses, and other payroll adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and payroll legislation.
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll data.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support year-end payroll activities, including P60s and other statutory reporting.
  • Assist with pension administration and payroll audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy at all times.

  • Previous experience in a payroll administration role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and UK payroll legislation.
  • Experience using payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CIPP qualification or payroll-related certification.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or growing business environment.
