What You'll Do

  • Qualify and manage new business opportunities.
  • Lead end-to-end bid and proposal activity, including defence contracts and public tenders.
  • Develop winning bid strategies and commercial propositions.
  • Manage commercial negotiations and contract awards.
  • Maintain customer relationships from pursuit through delivery and renewal.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and repeat business.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, programme and leadership teams to ensure successful delivery.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in commercial, bid management or business development roles within aerospace, defence or another regulated sector.
  • Proven success winning complex bids and tenders.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of UK defence procurement is advantageous.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure.
