Greenio Ltd is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our growing renewable energy business based in Long Bennington, near Newark. Part of the TLS Energy Group, Greenio helps homeowners and businesses across the UK reduce energy costs and build a more sustainable future through renewable technologies including solar, EV charging, batteries, and energy-efficient upgrades. The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director and Group Finance Director, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day finance operations while supporting wider commercial and operational decision‑making across the business. We’re open to both full‑time applicants and candidates looking for flexibility, including 4 days per week or school‑friendly hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day accounting activities across the business
- Maintaining accounting records within Xero
- Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Supplier invoicing, payments and PO management
- Customer invoicing, sales orders and credit control
- Supporting stock management and project accounting
- Processing expenses and managing company credit cards
- Preparing VAT returns and intercompany reconciliations
- Producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Supporting cashflow reporting, sales analysis and ad hoc reporting
- Assisting with annual audit preparation
- Working closely with operational and sales teams to support business performance
About You
We’re looking for someone with at least 5 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role who enjoys being involved in the wider business and can communicate confidently with both finance and non‑finance colleagues. You will ideally be:
- Part-qualified Accountant or an experienced Bookkeeper
- Experienced using Xero or similar accounting software
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently
- Proficient in Excel and confident with financial reporting
- A collaborative team player with a positive, hands‑on attitude
