Job Description As a Greenhouse Coach Mentor, you'll use basketball intentionally to support the whole young person's development. Through our STEP curriculum (Social, Thinking, Emotional and Physical), you'll create positive environments and learning experiences that develop young people's skills both on and off the court.
You'll take ownership of your programme by planning purposeful sessions, building meaningful relationships, reflecting on your practice, and adapting your approach to meet the needs of the young people you support.
As a coach mentor you will also work closely with the Impact Team to collect high-quality data to demonstrate the effectiveness of what we do and to quantify the difference we make to our young people. Data is collected at designated times throughout the year and includes; case studies, questionnaires, skills and fitness testing. Our coaches also regularly review the young peoples' progress and set targets for their future development.
Greenhouse Sports is committed to Safeguarding & Child Protection and you will ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and will maintain accurate records of all registered participants, staff and volunteers at all planned sessions.
