The Commercial Graduate Programme
This programme is designed to prove your commercial aptitude and hone your skillsfor a seat at one of our trading desks. Successful candidates provide front-line supportto traders within risk management, analytics, chartering or operations, withopportunities to rotate between. The programme also has within it the opportunityto gain experience working with our physical Assets business, providing insight to acrucial part of commodity trading.

Who we look for
We look for recent (or soon-to-be) graduates with an excellent track record ofindividual achievement – who are interested in a challenging, exciting career in thecommodities sector.
You should have an entrepreneurial approach, a deeply analytical mindset, and thecapability to solve complex problems using a wide range of numerical and technicalskills.
Working at Glencore requires commercial awareness, adaptability and resilience – andyou will need to thrive in team environments as well as take initiative independently.

- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree at 2.1 or above in STEM, finance,economics or similar. Recent graduates and those predicted to graduatewith a 2.1 or above in 2027 are welcome to apply.
- A demonstrated interest in our work in the commodities sector, shownthrough some relevant experience in the Finance, Energy or Oil industries.
- Ability to speak another language is desired but not essential.
