We are looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join our Impact Lab team on a 15-month fixed-term contract.

The role will be responsible for planning and delivering multiple paid media campaigns, monitoring and optimising campaign performance, and working with the team to develop data-driven processes that deliver the best results for our clients.

We are looking for someone who has experience of delivering innovative paid media strategies and a strategic understanding of data and analytics.

Key responsibilities

  • High-impact campaigns
  • Use a consultative approach to communicate our paid media offering to both existing and prospective clients.
  • Create, guide and deliver innovative paid media strategies, reporting on performance and optimisation to clients and account leads.
  • Oversee paid media budgets for our client portfolio ensuring spend is maximised and impact is delivered.
  • Nurture strategic partnerships with the platforms we use via Account Managers, Customer Success Managers or other external contacts.
  • Test and trial new features or trends to share across our teams and ensure we are always delivering the best results for our clients.
  • Data analytics and performance
  • Have an in-depth understanding of how to maximise impact through optimisation and improvement based on data and insight.
  • Input into integrated campaign plans and strategies to create the most impactful solutions for clients, leading on recommendations for data and analytics.
  • Work closely with account leads to manage, track and evaluate campaign KPIs and prove ROI.
  • A/B testing expertise to maximise ROI and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Lead on the implementation of analytics reporting via Google Analytics with good level of GA4 experience.
  • Be comfortable presenting regular strategic insight and recommendations to clients based on campaign performance, testing and best practice.
  • Experience working across a range of digital channels - from SEM, SEO, Paid Social, Paid Search, Website, Display, Email, retargeting, etc.
  • Experience developing data visualisations and dashboards to measure and monitor impact.
  • Be entrepreneurial and challenge the status quo when it comes to performance and data for our clients.

  • Share paid media knowledge and best practice with colleagues, supporting the wider team on paid media and performance-related activities.

  • Build relationships and work closely with teams across Greenhouse, educating them on paid media, performance, measurement, and data analytics.
  • What we’re looking for

Essential skills & experience

  • Solid experience within an integrated agency or in-house marketing team.
  • Experience developing and delivering paid media strategies for integrated marketing campaigns, providing performance expertise and guidance both internally and externally.
  • Strategic understanding of data and analytics.
  • Experience contributing to data strategy and planning for integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Exceptional knowledge of common data and digital platforms and tools.
  • Strong technical experience of analytics tools and paid media platforms (particularly, but not limited to: Google Tag Manager, GA4, Linked In Ads, Meta Ads, Google Ads including Grant accounts, programmatic display).
  • Experience negotiating, securing and managing paid media partnerships with online media publishers, from initial outreach and commercial agreements through to campaign delivery and performance management.
  • Established presentation skills, with the ability to draw strategic insights from data and tell a compelling story.
  • Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams including designers, developers and digital specialists such as SEO and CRO.
  • Experience working or academic background within the sustainability sector.
  • A strategic understanding of sustainability sector trends and key challenges.

  • Contract, salary and benefits
  • Location: Bristol, UK.
  • Flexible working: core hours 10am–4pm with 2 days per week expected in the Bristol office.
  • Early finish Fridays (finish at 3pm every Friday).
  • 25 days holiday (plus your birthday and office closure between Christmas and New Year).
