An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our business as a Vehicle Technician at our Omoda site in Shrewsbury. In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out high-quality inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure all vehicles meet our exacting standards before they are returned to customers or released to market. Working as part of a skilled and motivated team, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining our reputation for excellence, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Following a job card to carry out approved repairs.
- Removing and refitting parts across multiple brands of vehicles.
- Ability to understand and follow advised customers repair standards.
- Ability to problem solve and diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues.
- Completing safety checks (Mechanical Inspections) on newly arrived vehicles.
- Ensure all repairs are carried out to a high standard and quality check your own work.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- Good knowledge and understanding of multi brand cars and vans.
- Previous experience in mechanical and electrical fitting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Have a strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
- Level 3, MOT Tester.
