An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our business as a Vehicle Painter and Prepper at our Cold Meece Refurbishment site.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and refinishing a variety of vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring a flawless finish and exceptional attention to detail. Working within a skilled and supportive team, you’ll play a key part in maintaining our reputation for quality and efficiency.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has experience in vehicle painting or preparation, and thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sand and rub cars in preparation for painting.
- Paint all makes of cars.
- Masking of all makes of cars.
- Polishing cars.
- Mix paint to correct specification.
- Ensure the preparation of all cars leaving the Bodyshop is completed to a high standard.
- Maintaining a tidy and professional working environment, with emphasis on health and safety in the workplace.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper or Painter in a similar environment.
- Understand repair techniques for all makes of cars.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
