We are looking for a PDI Operative / Accessory Fitter to join our busy PDI Centre in Fenton. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for vehicle preparation. Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles to manufacturer standards.
- Fitting vehicle accessories such as tow bars, side steps, roof rails, parking sensors, dash cams, mud flaps, and trim items.
- Completing quality checks to ensure vehicles are road-ready and meet customer expectations.
- Identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Working to deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Previous experience in a PDI, vehicle preparation, accessory fitting, or mechanical role.
- Good mechanical awareness and practical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Minimum of a IMEI level 2 qualification.
