A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Site Cleaner at Upper Heyford Fleet Services site. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness across the fleet site, including workshops, vehicle bays, offices, staff facilities, and external areas.
  • Clean and sanitise welfare areas including kitchens, toilets, and break rooms.
  • Support operational areas by ensuring floors, walkways, and workspaces are clear of waste, spills, and debris.
  • Safely handle cleaning equipment and materials, following correct procedures and COSHH guidelines.
  • Empty bins, manage recycling, and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.
  • Carry out scheduled and ad-hoc deep cleaning tasks as required.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damage to a Site Manager promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.
Ideally, we are looking for
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role preferred, ideally within an industrial, fleet, or automotive environment.
  • Understanding of cleaning products, materials, and safe usage (COSHH awareness desirable).
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload effectively.
  • Good communication skills and a professional, proactive attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining site standards.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety requirements and willingness to follow all site safety rules.
