Vehicle Technician BYD - Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid), i.e. 42.5 hours per week.

This is a rare opportunity to work in a modern, purpose-built workshop environment, designed to support the next generation of electric vehicles. As part of a fresh, forward-thinking team, you'll play a key role in shaping how the site operates from day one, helping to set high standards and build a strong team culture.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join us at this exciting stage. As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles, with a strong focus on electric and hybrid systems:

  • Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Work on electric and hybrid vehicle systems (training provided if needed).

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).
  • Previous experience in a workshop or dealership environment.
  • Interest in electric vehicle technology (EV experience is a bonus).
  • Full UK driving licence.
