Greenhous is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy workshop team in Livingston.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of the UK's leading automotive groups, working in a modern workshop with excellent facilities, ongoing manufacturer training, and genuine opportunities for career progression.
As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicles while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest manufacturer standards.
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify any additional work required.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer and company standards.
- Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain an efficient workshop.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times.
Ideally, we are looking for
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Mechanic or Vehicle Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding workmanship.
