Join our team in Livingston as a skilled Vehicle Inspection & Quality Control Inspector. We are looking for a detail-driven individual with a strong understanding of vehicle condition standards to ensure every vehicle meets our quality, safety, and compliance requirements before release.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm i.e. 42.5 hours per week. 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid).
Salary: Dependent on experience (will be discussed at interview stage).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles entering and leaving the site.
- Identify cosmetic or structural defects using digital inspection tools.
- Ensure all vehicles meet internal QC standards as well as industry and safety regulations.
- Carry out pre-delivery, post-repair and end-of-lease inspections.
- Liaise with workshop, bodyshop, and operations teams to communicate findings and support workflow prioritisation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and photographic evidence of inspections.
- Support continuous improvement of inspection processes and quality standards.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- Previous experience in vehicle inspection, automotive QC, accident repair, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of vehicle components, damage assessment and repair methods.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident using inspection apps, tablets, or digital reporting systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Full UK driving licence (desirable).
