Greenhous is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts team at our High Ercall site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong numeracy skills and experience in a fast-paced environment ideally within the motor trade or automotive sector. Potential of changing working hours to 8.30 am to 4.30 pm after successfully passing the probation period. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and reconcile vehicle records to ensure all costs are accurate and appropriately recorded.
  • Complete month-end manufacturer performance submissions.
  • Maintain control accounts for RFL and manufacturer supports.
  • Support Purchase Ledger, including processing payment runs.
  • Manage profitability control for a designated manufacturer, including identifying and resolving shortfalls.
  • Liaise with the Sales department to resolve queries when required.
  • Assist with monthly wages and expenses analysis for drivers.
  • Provide general support across the Accounts department as needed.
  • Carry out bank reconciliations (cover when required).
  • Assist with month-end and year-end processes.
  • Provide support during external audits.

  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, telephone, and email).
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Ability to think outside the box.
  • High levels of accuracy and integrity.
  • Computer literate.
  • Keyloop (Kerridge) (preferred).
  • Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
  • Microsoft Word (basic level).
  • Previous experience within motor trade, automotive or car dealership.
