Adams Morey is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time HGV Driver to join our team in Plymouth. This role is ideal for a semi-retired individual, particularly an ex-technician, or someone with a solid mechanical background who is looking for flexible, part-time work.
Hours: 3 days per week, 8 hours, i.e. 24 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid).
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collection and delivery of commercial vehicles as required.
- Supporting workshop operations with vehicle movements.
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
- Confidently present a vehicle for an MOT test, cooperating professionally with the DVSA tester.
- Representing the company in a professional manner at all times.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- Valid HGV (Class 1 or Class 2) licence.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Mechanical or technical background highly desirable.
- Flexible and dependable.
