An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our business as a Vehicle Technician at our Shrewsbury site, representing Vauxhall, Omoda, Jeacoo and Chery.

In this role, you'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure all vehicles meet our exacting standards before they are returned to customers or released to market. Working as part of a skilled and motivated team, you'll play an essential role in maintaining our reputation for excellence, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Following a job card to carry out approved repairs.
  • Removing and refitting parts across multiple brands of vehicles.
  • Ability to understand and follow advised customers repair standards.
  • Ability to problem solve and diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Completing safety checks (Mechanical Inspections) on newly arrived vehicles.
  • Ensure all repairs are carried out to a high standard and quality check your own work.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.

Ideally, we are looking for:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of multi brand cars and vans.
  • Previous experience in mechanical and electrical fitting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Have a strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Willingness to go on a MOT testers course if not already a qualified tester.

Monday to Thursday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Friday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, i.e. 41.5 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid).
