The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Vehicle Prepper at our Cold Meece Refurbishment and Defleet site. Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sand and rub cars in preparation for painting.
  • Cleaning and prep cars ready for masking.
  • Masking of all makes of cars, including detailed masking.
  • Polishing cars if the workload demands.
  • Follow job cards and in-house IT systems to ensure correct panels are worked.
  • Ensure the preparation of all cars leaving the Bodyshop is completed to a high standard.
  • Maintaining a tidy and professional working environment, with emphasis on health and safety in the workplace.

Ideally, We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper or Painter in a similar environment.
  • Understand repair techniques for all makes of cars.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills.
