A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Bodyshop Technician - MET at our Livingston Refurbishment centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and skilfully undertake the removal and replacement of mechanical, electrical and trim items.
- Undertake the panel repair or replacement of damaged motor vehicles following manufacturers' instructions.
- Detect and diagnose any additional faults which may have occurred during the repair process.
- Refit any stripped panels and trims which were removed to facilitate Bodyshop repairs.
- Removing and refitting parts across multiple brands of vehicles.
- Strip tyres for replacement/repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.
Ideally, We Are Looking For
- Must have extensive experience working on a wide range of makes and models of motor vehicles.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as MET technician or Panel beater.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Health and safety and environmental awareness.
- Teamwork to support and accommodate requests.
- Focused and self-motivated.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
