We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver to join our dynamic Parts Team at Greenhous DAF in Shrewsbury on a part time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Working Hours: Thursday & Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm i.e. 16 hours per week. 30 minutes lunch (unpaid).
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, check, and store incoming parts and stock.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse.
- Assist with stocktaking and inventory control.
- Prepare goods for dispatch and delivery.
- Carry out local deliveries to customers and suppliers as a Relief Driver.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Ideally, we are looking for:
- A full driving licence is essential.
- Previous warehouse or driving experience is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience with working with computer systems is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.
- Must be physically fit and able to handle manual lifting tasks.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Flexible and willing to cover driving duties at short notice.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
