Greenhous DAF Birmingham is looking for a skilled and motivated HGV Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a market-leading brand in a professional, well-equipped environment. As an HGV Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles to the highest standards of safety and performance. Working as part of a professional workshop team, you will ensure vehicles are inspected, serviced and repaired efficiently to keep our customers on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
  • Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete vehicle inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Accurately complete job cards and service records.
  • Work safely and maintain a clean, organised workspace.

Ideally, we are looking for:

  • Qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Experience working on HGVs (DAF experience advantageous but not essential).
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • HGV Class 1 or 2 licence desirable.
  • A positive, reliable and proactive attitude.
