Join to apply for the Digital and Creative Marketing Lead role at Greenhead College. £35,296.38 to £40,355.96 (£37,734.00 to £43,143.00 per annum FTE) – Points 20 to 25 of the Support Staff Pay Scale. Working hours: 37 hours per week, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Friday, term‑time only plus 111 additional hours to be worked throughout the year, as agreed with the Vice Principal – Quality of Education (equivalent of 42 weeks per year). FTE: 0.9354 Pension: West Yorkshire Pension Fund, plus Death in Service Grant of 3 × your annual salary.

Reports to: Vice Principal – Quality of Education. Greenhead College is situated on a welcoming and attractive campus close to Huddersfield town centre, adjacent to the picturesque Greenhead Park. It is highly accessible for applicants from across the Northwest and Yorkshire. Approximately 2,900 students attend the College studying predominantly A‑Level courses across 35 subjects. The College maintains a unique tutorial system, with all Personal Tutors fully qualified teachers, highly experienced in pastoral care, careers guidance and trained in Mental Health First Aid. Students also benefit from a rich extra‑curricular enrichment offer and a wide range of project and work placement opportunities through our Step Into Your Future scheme.

Responsibilities:
- Generating, updating and actively managing content for the College website.
- Developing a social media plan and digital marketing strategy in consultation with the Vice Principal (Quality of Education), including scheduling relevant digital content over weekends and holidays.
- Strategic direction of the College’s digital presence, both online and onsite, in line with the College Digital Strategy.
- Using the College Calendar to oversee the production of appropriate digital content to market the College across the academic year.
- Managing all aspects of the College’s social media presence, including writing copy for posts and scheduling across Facebook, Instagram, X and developing a Tik Tok presence.
- Using data from social media to target and evaluate campaigns, building insights to share with the College Leadership Team and Governors.
- Leading and managing the written content for the College prospectus, including related digital content.
- Managing written promotional content such as banners, postcards and information leaflets, integrating with designs from the Digital and Creative Marketing Designer and supporting content creation for events organized by the Student Recruitment, Marketing and Alumni Lead.
- Supporting the Digital and Creative Content Designer in making and editing content (e.g., using CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Canva).
- Taking responsibility for the management of digital content—photo library, videos—in line with College policy.
- Creating content for the alumni newsletter with the Student Recruitment, Marketing and Alumni Lead.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the local media; handling initial enquiries.
- Writing press releases, editorials and bids for local, regional and national awards.
- Horizon scanning best practice in the FE sector and beyond to keep Greenhead at the forefront of digital and creative marketing.
- Line managing the Digital and Creative Marketing Designer.
- Managing the College digital marketing budget.
- Being a member of the College liaison team.
- Assisting at College events, e.g., bridging days, taster days and awards evenings.
