WHY HAVE THE VACANCIES ARISEN? Continued expansion means we are now looking to fill a number of exciting opportunities for Assistant Surveyors. Experience is not necessary, just a passion to learn and develop and build a new career in geo-spatial surveying.
WHAT DOES THE JOB ENTAIL? Supporting experienced surveyors to undertake surveys around the UK, by collecting data using the appropriate equipment eg: Total Stations and Laser Scanners, for which training will be given.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB ROLE:
- Responsible for the operation, care and loading up of relevant surveying equipment and assisting with the accurate and detailed collection of survey data.
- Learn to process survey information using CAD and other modelling software packages.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must hold a Full, UK Driving Licence
- Good communication skills
- Must be prepared to work away from home on a regular basis
- English and Maths at GCSE Grade 5 or above are desirable

- Able to use your own initiative
- Good timekeeper – this job involves a lot of early morning starts and punctuality is important
- Likes to travel around and experience different types of work environment, anything from construction sites, commercial premises, residential houses, fields, highways and castles, to name a few.
