The Creative Learning Partnership Trust is seeking a part‑time teacher to work at Greenhall and/or across our SEDIS provision (outreach). Starting September 2026 or January 2027. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, inspiring and nurturing teacher to join our outstanding team.
Greenhall is a Special School for children in the Early Years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. There are currently 40 children on roll. A child‑centred approach is at the heart of all that we do and we want all children to excel and ‘fly’ in all aspects of school life. We believe effective relationships that provide high support and high challenge are crucial and knowing our children well is foundational to this.
This role may involve sharing responsibility for a class and/or working as a key figure delivering our outreach work, depending on skillset. The role will be shaped in response to the growth of Greenhall & SEDIS. We are offering the opportunity to work in a school with a committed, welcoming and highly dedicated staff team. Training, support and coaching will be offered to ensure success in duties.
Qualifications:
- Excellent classroom practitioner with a sound understanding of SEND and inclusion
- Willing to go the extra mile for our children, families and wider community
- Detail‑oriented, able to manage logistics such as coats and missing items
- High expectations; works with the child and family
- Calm, patient, playful when children struggle with emotions; able to provide sensory support and coaching
- Loves stories and can read the same book many times without losing magic and voice
- Can sing with gusto
- Warm, infectious smile that greets children, families and staff, making them feel loved, special and valued
- Dresses appropriately for the weather to encourage outdoor activities
- Understanding of the EYFS and the needs of children in the early years and wider primary curriculum
- Able to lead a team of support staff and inspire, challenge, motivate others across the school and community
- Creative, able to think outside the box and work with others to find sustainable solutions
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people is a priority. All appointments are subject to clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service, references and medical clearance.
