You may have spent years tending your own garden and are ready to do it professionally, or you may already have commercial experience. This role would suit a mature person, or someone looking for a career change.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position focused on the day-to-day detail that defines the presentation of our clients' gardens and grounds. Daily responsibilities include:
- Precision weeding and bed maintenance
- Grass cutting and lawn presentation
- Pruning, shaping and seasonal plant care
- Maintaining borders, feature areas and planted beds
- Identifying and reporting plant health issues
- Keeping hard surfaces clean, tidy and weed-free
- Working closely with clients and team members to deliver excellent service
You will begin with a structured shadowing period alongside an experienced senior team member, learning our standards, methods and approach to client care. Once settled, you will take full ownership of your own schedule and sites.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous professional gardening experience - essential
- A deep, practical passion for horticulture and garden presentation
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Good plant and soil knowledge, with an eye for plant health
- The focus and resilience to maintain high-quality work throughout a full day outdoors
- A reliable, self-motivated approach - you take ownership and don't need chasing
- Confident, professional communication with clients and team members
- Full UK driving licence
- A valid and existing right to work in the UK
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:15 - 17:00.
