Our market-leading client is looking to recruit an experienced IT Support Engineer. This crucial role involves a blend of core IT support, in-house system enhancement, and infrastructure collaboration, partnering with both specialist external IT providers and internal teams to maintain the smooth running of vital operational technologies.
IT Support Engineer Skills / Background:
- Solid troubleshooting skills and experience in an IT helpdesk or technical support role (Essential)
- Familiarity with SQL databases
- Advantageous: Background in supporting or developing within a Microsoft .NET framework, particularly with C# and ASP.NET.
IT Support Engineer Role Responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, and enhance the internal Information Management System
- Provide first-line support for the on-site MRP system.
- Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of the SQL-based data warehouse.
- Provide hands-on IT support to end users across the site, in collaboration with the MSP.
- Collaborative oversight of our local IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and backup protocols (in conjunction with our MSP).
- Development and upkeep of internal IT knowledge resources and standard processes.
- Flexibility to undertake tasks aligned with their skillset and the evolving needs of the business.
Company Benefits:
