IT Manager

This role would suit an experienced IT Manager or someone looking to take a step up into an IT Management role.
A cloud-first organisation is seeking an experienced IT Manager to take ownership of its digital environment, drive cybersecurity assurance, and lead supplier performance in a fully outsourced support model.
You’ll be the strategic and operational lead for IT — managing vendors, overseeing the Salesforce platform, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across systems, security, and service delivery.
IT Manager role
- Lead and develop the IT team; set clear objectives and drive a high-performance culture.
- Own the Salesforce platform — architecture, integrations, data quality, access control, and release management.
- Manage MSP performance, SLAs, incident trends, and service risks.
- Oversee supplier relationships, contract renewals, licensing, and cost optimisation.
- Lead cybersecurity governance, including DSPT and Cyber Essentials PLUS.
- Act as DPO & Information Security Officer.
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, and strategic planning.
- Identify opportunities for automation, innovation, and digital improvement.
IT Manager profile
- Strong experience managing cloud-based IT environments.
- Proven success leading outsourced IT services and MSPs.
- Hands-on Salesforce governance experience - desirable not essential
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with Cyber Essentials PLUS.
- Skilled in supplier negotiation and contract management.
