Do you have experience supporting Oracle ERP Cloud Financials and enjoy getting to the root of system issues while working closely with users and stakeholders? We’re looking for a practical and collaborative Oracle Support Analyst to join our Manchester-based team. You’ll support the day-to-day running of Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, troubleshoot incidents, manage service requests and help maintain and improve the system as business requirements develop. You’ll also contribute to system enhancements, testing, quarterly Oracle updates and functional documentation, while working with technical teams on areas such as integrations and BI reporting. This role would suit someone with solid Oracle ERP Cloud Financials experience who is organised, analytical and keen to build their knowledge across a broad Oracle environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for Oracle ERP Cloud Financials, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
- Configure and support Oracle ERP Cloud Financial modules, including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Procurement, Projects.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Support system enhancements, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployments and Oracle quarterly updates.
- Work with technical teams on integrations, BI reports.
- Produce functional documentation, knowledge articles and user guidance.
- Manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and liaise with Oracle Support on product or MCS support tickets where required.
- Provide functional support during month-end and year-end financial close periods, ensuring critical Finance issues are resolved within agreed service levels.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Essential: Previous experience supporting Oracle ERP Cloud Financials.
- Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Procurement and Projects.
- Experience supporting Oracle ERP Cloud in a BAU production environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, collaborative and committed to continuous improvement.
- Desirable: Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs or SQL is desirable.
- Oracle Cloud ERP Financials certification.
- Experience supporting multinational Oracle ERP Cloud environments.
- Experience with Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle quarterly release management.
- Oracle Certifications.
