As demand continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrician Supervisor / Quality Control Manager to join our expanding team.

This is a dual-role position combining electrical supervision with quality control management across Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pump installations. You will oversee installation standards, support field engineers, carry out technical inspections, and ensure all projects are completed safely, compliantly, and to the highest workmanship standards. The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the renewable energy sector and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities of our Quality Control Manager:

  • Supervise and support Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pump installation teams
  • Conduct quality control inspections on completed installations
  • Ensure all works comply with MCS, NAPIT, and health & safety standards
  • Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and sign-off
  • Identify installation issues and implement corrective actions
  • Support training and development of engineers and apprentices
  • Maintain accurate documentation, commissioning records, and compliance paperwork
  • Liaise with office staff, surveyors, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Monitor installation performance and customer satisfaction
  • Assist with audits and continuous improvement processes

Essential Requirements for our Electrician Supervisor:

  • Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of Solar PV systems and Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Excellent understanding of electrical regulations and compliance
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • MCS / NICEIC experience
  • Renewable energy sector background
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience in quality assurance or technical auditing
