Greener Ealing Ltd (GEL) provides high-quality Waste Collection, Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance, Parking services and other environmental services for our customers, the London Borough of Ealing, its residents and other service users. Due to our continued success, a great opportunity has arisen for a Ground/Plant Fitter.
Duties will include:
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with vehicles, plant, ground and landscaping machinery
- Daily defect repair and servicing of ride on mowers, strimmers, blowers and much more
- Maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance
- Ensuring workshop is kept to a high standard
To be successful, you must have the following:
- Minimum NVQ level 4 or City and Guilds level 3, or equivalent.
- Current full UK Driving licence or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a workshop setting
- Understanding of grounds/plant machinery
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
