Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining all daily production and shipping to meet Logistics requirements. Warehouse Operators will support all warehouse operations including finished goods conversion, receiving and shipping of finished goods and packaging components, packaging material handling, and any other related duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Must have the ability to read, understand and perform the work instructions in all operations.
- Perform all tasks required to package product in order to meet customer specifications.
- Store, retrieve, count, label and record all parts and assemblies and perform any other warehouse tasks.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Pack and unpack cartons.
- Must have the ability to set up and operate all packaging machines.
- Pick up and deliver goods throughout the plant and transport materials within and between departments as required.
- Ability to occasionally carry up to 50lbs without the use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Ability to operate a forklift on a limited basis.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with SAP (or comparable system) and basic computer skills preferred.
- Ability to work within UPS Worldship, Fedex, DHL, Pitney-Bowes shipping software, international paperwork.
- Familiar with shipping procedures both electronic and hard copy.
