As a Supply Chain Planner- Food & GNFR, you will be responsible for contacting customers on a daily basis to advise on stock exceptions as well as working as part of the Supply Chain Team to manage the stock replenishment process. In addition, you will be helping ensure stock availability throughout the supply chain to meet customer demand, delivering a high level of customer service to all internal and external customers.
Your role as Supply Chain Planner- Food & GNFR:
- Ensure sufficient finished goods stocks are available to meet forecasted requirements.
- Maintain short term booking in schedules around Depot capabilities, working hours, labour availability.
- Minimise write off and manage stock availability to achieve customer service targets.
- On time deliveries of Finished Stocks including Supplier Management and Relationships.
- Manage Inventory levels of finished stock to department targets.
- Communicate any shortages that will affect delivery plan to key stakeholders.
- Process and formulate information gathered from the wider business into the inbound plan.
- Management and engagement of 3rd party suppliers.
- Implement strategies for resource optimization.
- Analyze and improve inventory processes.
Qualifications:
- Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
- Working as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail to prevent ordering errors causing write off or customer failure.
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapting to changes in demand.
- Experience of Stock Planning ERP systems.
- Experience of an FMCG environment.
