As a Purchasing Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the business in the delivery of key events, whilst supporting the GNFR and Services team with day-to-day purchasing and planning activities, ensuring products and services are sourced efficiently and in line with business requirements. You’ll work closely with our internal Brand and Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain teams and our external Supply base in a fast-paced, commercial environment.

Job Description

**Please note this is a 12 month FTC/Secondment Opportunity** As a Purchasing Planner you will…

  • Support Brand teams and Operations on key event opportunities and work with suppliers to drive innovation, whilst ensuring cost savings and mitigating cash spend.
  • Support with GNFR product Rationalisation, liaising with relevant stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth transition.
  • Support the Purchasing Managers with product sourcing, supplier reviews, negotiations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage suppliers to ensure all key performance levels are achieved.
  • Work with Supply Chain to set up all new products required to support Pubs, ensuring accurate product and supplier information is in place prior to launch.
  • Maintain approved supplier and buying panels across all GNFR categories, ensuring information remains accurate, compliant, and aligned to business requirements.
  • Manage all pub queries coming into the team, providing timely, professional, and accurate support.
  • Work closely with Risk team to minimise environmental impacts where relevant.
  • Promote innovation and sustainability within the supplier base.
