Our relaxed pubs with beautifully decorated interiors, seriously good pub food and expertly chosen drinks ranges are the perfect places for our customers to enjoy any occasion.

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Gardener to maintain the outdoor areas of three pub beer gardens and an adjoining car park.

Hours: Approximately 4–6 hours per week during the spring and summer months. Reduced hours during autumn and winter, depending on seasonal requirements. Flexible working schedule to be agreed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weeding flower beds, borders, pathways, and paved areas.
  • Pruning shrubs, hedges, and plants as required.
  • Planting and maintaining seasonal flowers and displays.
  • Sweeping and tidying beer garden areas and the car park.
  • Removing litter and garden waste.
  • Monitoring the general appearance and condition of outdoor spaces.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns.

Requirements:

  • Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining attractive outdoor spaces.
  • Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of carrying out gardening duties.
  • Own transport and gardening tools are advantageous but not essential.
