As a Pub Partners Designate Business Development Manager, you will grow your commercial, operational and leadership skills as you learn how to support Partners across our leased and tenanted estate. You’ll gain hands-on experience of pub operations, area management and Pubs Code compliance while building the capability needed to progress into a full Business Development Manager role.
As Pub Partners Designate Business Development Manager, you will:- Support experienced BDMs in building strong, fair and commercially focused relationships with our Partners.
- Learn how to analyse P&Ls, understand area performance and spot opportunities to grow profitability.
- Help recruit and onboard new Partners, taking part in pre-entry meetings and business planning conversations.
- Apply the principles of the Pubs Code through fair, lawful and transparent dealings.
- Build capability in operational standards, audits and compliance to help drive great guest experiences.
- Gain insight into debt management, contractual obligations and wider risk processes.
- Experience in hospitality, pubs, retail or operations, with a genuine interest in leased and tenanted models.
- Strong analytical and commercial awareness, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence to influence and support others.
- Resilience, initiative and the ability to prioritise effectively while working in a field-based environment.
- A commitment to fairness, transparency and lawful dealing under the Pubs Code.
