We're looking for a talented Communications Specialist to play a key role in shaping how we tell our story, enhancing the reputation of our brewing and beer brands, and bringing our strategy to life through impactful PR and communications. As part of our Group External Communications team, you'll lead proactive communications activity for our Brewing & Brands (B&B) division.

Responsibilities

  • Enhancing positive relationships with local media ahead of the opening of our new brewery in 2027.
  • Proactive outreach across the business to build a bank of positive stories for external use across all media, aligned with the wider business and comms strategies.
  • Developing positive relationships across national and trade media, outside of B&B.
  • Identifying positive opportunities to accelerate brand awareness and recognition across Greene King and Greene King Brewery.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders including those in B&B, Pub Partners, marketing and PR to understand goals and objectives, ensuring we can develop engaging and high performing PR activations across the team.
  • Work with the internal comms team to provide a regular drumbeat of content to support wider business objectives.
  • Reporting for the senior leadership team across our team efforts.
  • Management of our corporate LinkedIn channel, including development of content.
