Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integration (API) solutions.
- Ingest data from flat files, XML, and third-party data sources using Azure Data Factory.
- Build and maintain Azure Dev Ops pipelines, including repos, pipelines, security tooling such as Sonar Qube, and release and deployment software.
- Implement security solutions and controls in integration solutions, including secure coding practices such as OWASP ZAP.
- Create technical documentation to support solution design, delivery, and release activities, including publishing to wikis.
- Work with open‑source components and packages, understanding opportunities and risks.
- Apply software testing techniques and shift‑left approach.
- Engineer solutions collaboratively with third‑party engineering teams.
- Build HA/DR compliant solutions that can handle scaled public digital solutions.
- Coach and mentor team members to share knowledge and support team growth.
Qualifications
- Computer Science degree.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS, using infrastructure as code.
- Experience installing, managing and maintaining software toolsets.
- Strong knowledge of software testing techniques.
- Experience with security solutions and controls.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive solution orientation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly motivated team player with team‑centred behaviours.
- Ability to deliver in a fast‑moving, changing business environment.
- Desirable: experience with Autosys, IBM tools, certifications in Azure or AWS and integration platforms.
- Interest in AI.
