We have a new opportunity within our Bury Distribution Centre as the Primary Distribution Load Planner; you will play a key role in ensuring vehicle routes are planned for on time deliveries throughout the UK for both our Tanker and National Distribution fleet. In this role it will be your job to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of daily load scheduling to ensure optimal utilisation of resource whilst delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Qualifications
Your role as Load Planner:
- The effective management and planning of drivers and vehicles, through use of transport planning software.
- Controlling and planning an agreed amount of resource (vehicles, drivers); ensuring all legal requirements are adhered to (Working Time Directive and EU drivers’ hours regulations).
- To ensure the daily plan is completed maximising utilisation whilst minimising cost.
- Constantly communicate with our customer service teams and drivers to ensure customer KPI’s and targets are achieved and maintained.
What You’ll Bring....
- You will have previous experience in a load planning role.
- Literate in MS Office.
- Demonstrate previous experience of transport planning systems.
- Have the ability to work under pressure, independently and make decisions whilst supporting the team to deliver all its goals.
