As part of the growth strategy for the business, the Pricing Strategy Analyst will report to the Pricing Strategy Lead and support the Pricing Strategy team. The analyst will play a role in delivering the Group, Brand and Customer Growth Engine strategic plan with delivery of revenue, volume and margin targets. The Pricing Strategy Analyst supports the Pricing Strategy Lead in delivering price, margin, and volume targets across the business. This role is responsible for analysing and having a deep understanding of pricing trends across Greene King's portfolio of brands, whilst connecting price with volume, managing monthly competitor pricing updates and willingness to pay updates. The role balances the commercials with a customer first mindset.

Your role as Pricing Strategy Analyst:

  • Support the execution of brand pricing & promotion strategies to drive sustainable revenue, volume and margin growth.
  • Complete analysis to guide the optimal mix of full price, promotions, and tactical discount activity to maximise Sales and Margin performance.
  • Ensure pricing decisions balance commercial outcomes with customer value perception.
  • Periodically analyse GK price performance and key drivers of average price change vs. budget.
  • Work with Pricing Delivery and Promotion & Discount teams to ensure up to date view of all pricing impacts to feed accurate price forecasting tool.
  • Key contact for updates of customer willingness to pay studies.
  • Key contact for pub market competitor intelligence, working with agency partner. Ensure insight is shared & summarised across business.

What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrate ability to balance commercials with a customer-first mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to use multiple data sets and summarise into actionable insight.
  • Experience or understanding of the balance between price & volume to drive sales & margin.
