As a People Systems SME, you will play a key role in supporting and evolving our Workday platform, ensuring it meets the needs of our business. Workday experience is required for this position. You’ll work closely with HR, Payroll, IT and external partners to deliver system improvements, configuration changes, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role will be based at either our Burton office or Bury St Edmunds office based on your location, there will be a requirement to be in the office 2 days a week. Induction will be based in our Bury St Edmunds office.

As People Systems SME, you will…

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across HR and the wider business to gather requirements and deliver system and process improvements.
  • Configure and deploy changes within Workday, ensuring they align to governance and best practice.
  • Support and contribute to the ongoing Workday roadmap, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Partner with internal teams and external providers to ensure system integrations and data flows operate effectively.
  • Lead testing, quality assurance and release readiness activities, including support for biannual Workday releases.
