We\’re seeking Front of House staff to work across both the bar and waiting on tables here at the Governor\’s House, a busy pub and restaurant with 10 hotel rooms in leafy Cheadle Hulme. You\’ll be joining an experienced, inclusive and fun team to support your own professional development, ensuring our customers receive the best experience on each and every visit.
The right candidate will be outgoing, diligent, and reliable, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for great customer service.
This role is part-time, and ability to work evenings and weekends, sometimes until close (1am finish) is essential. You must also have the means of getting to and from the pub, including late at night.
Training will be provided, and experience is preferred but not essential, but candidates must be over the age of 18 in order to be able to serve behind the bar.

Qualifications
As a member of our Bar & Waiting Staff, you will…
- Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
- Be the insider behind the bar, offering recommendations to customers.
- Prepare and present drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations.
- Assist in greeting, serving food and looking after our customers whilst they dine with us.
- Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible.
