Greene King is looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join their team as a Kitchen Team Leader Apprentice.

What You’ll Do

As a bar and waiting apprentice, you will be key to creating unforgettable moments for customers, whether you’re putting a smile on their faces or recommending meals off the menu.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each time they visit.
  • Know the menu inside out and offer recommendations.
  • Greet, serve food and look after our customers while they dine.
  • Assist the bar in preparing drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations.
  • Ensure the front of house is always safe, legal and clean, and address any issues promptly and safely.
  • What Your Apprenticeship Includes
  • A mixture of face‑to‑face and Skype/phone catch‑ups every 4–6 weeks to discuss feedback and progress.
  • A mixture of on‑and‑off‑the‑job training, including workshops and webinars.
  • Reviews every 12 weeks with your line manager and apprenticeship trainer.
  • The chance to obtain functional skills in English and maths if you don’t already have GCSEs.
  • A Food and Beverage Team Member Apprenticeship Qualification upon completion of the 15‑month programme.
