Shift Pattern - 3 nights per week, working Thursday to Saturday 05:30 - 05:00

Rate of pay - £14.24 Per Hour, overtime paid at 1.25 hours after 48 hours

What you'll be doing:

  • In this role, you will undertake hygiene tasks including the cleaning of equipment and areas to the required hygiene standard.
  • Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel.
  • Use all chemicals appropriately and safely according to the COSHH regulations.
  • Deep cleaning of relevant areas following the cleaning schedule, as and when required.
  • Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnel.
  • Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Manager.
  • Carry out hygiene activities when needed in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity.
  • Promote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department.
  • Identify and highlight any opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality, performance in support of the overall shift plan.

What we're looking for:

  • Proficient in performing general warehouse hygiene duties.
  • Strict adherence to written approved procedures for hygiene tasks, with attention to completing logbook entries by company standards.
  • Promotion of a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness within the department.
  • Effective communication abilities, both in reading and writing.
  • Experience working in a role involving manual handling desired.
  • Experience of working in a food production environment is desired, but not always essential.
  • Cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
