Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 17:00 - 00:30

Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour

What you'll be doing: Working within an exciting and fast-paced environment, you will be a key member of our production team and will ensure the service we provide to our customer is of exceptional quality. The role can be physically demanding with a good amount of pushing, pulling and lifting involved. Tasks will involve:

  • Batching up of ingredients from a recipe sheet and accurate recording of traceability information.
  • Control of use by dates of materials and recording of issues.
  • Handling of hot liquids with the required PPE.
  • Completing critical checks and filling out paperwork accurately.
  • Standing for long periods of time.
  • Working as part of a team in a chilled and noisy environment.

What we're looking for: Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience:

  • Comfortable with handling, preparing food and ideally had experience of working in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable with standing for long periods of time, lifting and carrying, as well as other tasks such as cleaning.
  • Pride in the quality of the products you produce.
  • A great team player - respectful and appreciative towards our Greencore Family.
  • Friendly, honest, and hardworking and enjoy some fun at work!
  • Basic understanding of health & safety and food hygiene (although training will be given).
  • Accurate set up of pasta machinery and making of mixes.
  • Running and monitoring of machinery.
  • Supplying pasta to the high-risk assembly department.
  • Good level of English and Maths.
