In this fixed-term role, you will orchestrate planned maintenance for a state-of-the-art engineering site, ensuring safety, compliance, and high equipment availability. You’ll drive CMMS-driven planning, coordinate across Operations, Technical and Supply Chain, and lead improvement initiatives. This position sits at the heart of Greencore’s engineering team, helping to maximise asset performance while supporting a fast-paced, seasonal environment. You’ll work within the One Team culture to deliver reliable maintenance and safe site operations.

Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and control all planned maintenance and engineering activities
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to maximise equipment availability
- Utilise CMMS to convert work requests into feasible plans and balance labour availability
- Communicate maintenance plans with Operations, Technical and Supply Chain teams
- Chair daily meetings and review departmental KPIs with Engineering Management
- Maintain maintenance records (completed activities, components used, follow-up)
- Schedule and manage contractor activities ensuring safe site conditions and compliance
- Identify and implement improvement initiatives within the area of responsibility
- Support CMMS adoption across the facility through training and guidance
- Handle ad-hoc duties as required
Key requirements
- Educated to GSCE level or equivalent experience in an Engineering environment
- FMCG knowledge in a fast-paced, seasonal setting
- Experience with engineering and contractor deployment/management
- Attention to detail with strong prioritisation ability
- Analytical thinking paired with an assertive, proactive attitude
- Experience with computers and a CMMS system
