We supply a wide range of products to UK retailers and generated revenues of £1.8bn in FY24. Our direct-to-store distribution network enables over 10,500 daily deliveries of our own and third-party produce. Manton 110 is a major picking depot in Worksop, employing more than 200 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 60 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.
What you’ll be doing
Shift – PM Shift starting 2pm Sunday to Thursday. As a warehouse supervisor your key priority will be to ensure consistent application of the department standards and processes to deliver inbound, picking and dispatch schedules safely, legally and in line with KPIs and cost targets.
- Providing leadership and direction to ensure colleagues receive necessary training, are supported in their roles and are confident to ask for advice or guidance
- Investigating and communicating issues affecting the safe and legal achievement of the budgeted operational plan and, where required, preventing unsafe behaviours or the use of unsafe equipment
- Conducting operational inductions and training as required and ensuring records are signed off accurately for filing and entry to the onsite training matrix
- Actively participating in risk assessment, accident investigation, operational inspections and behavioural monitoring to maintain a safe workplace
- Communicating opportunities for improvements where trends and deficiencies affect service, safety, food hygiene or profitability

- Experience in fast-paced distribution or logistics environments and the ability to adapt to the needs of a dynamic role
- Significant people management/supervisory experience leading diverse teams and contributing to operational success
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate with the ability to use MS Office for recording and reporting
- Experience promoting cost efficiency
- Familiar with pick operating systems; voice picking is desirable
