What You’ll Be Doing
- As a Planner, you will create daily production plans, manage stock levels and ensure the factory runs efficiently to meet customer demand.
- You will forecast requirements, track performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
- Acting as a key link between departments, you will communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to support smooth operational performance every day.
Role Accountabilities
- Plan and prioritise production to maximise efficiency while meeting customer service targets
- Manage stock levels across finished goods, WIP and offsite inventory accurately and proactively
- Monitor factory performance daily, ensuring strong operational flow and timely delivery
- Forecast production needs to support material availability and labour planning
- Track, analyse and improve KPIs to support continuous operational excellence
- Collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and implement improvements to reduce costs, enhance efficiency and optimise planning processes
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a planning role within a fast‑paced or FMCG environment
- Strong numerical ability with confidence analysing data and making informed decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supporting effective cross‑functional working
- Proficient IT user, particularly skilled in Excel, with willingness to enhance technical capability further
- Proactive problem solver, able to take initiative and resolve challenges quickly
- Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage changing priorities effectively
- Strong collaborator who builds trusted relationships with teams and stakeholders
- Keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy across planning, forecasting and reporting
- Positive and resilient approach, supporting smooth daily operations and service improvement
