What You’ll Be Doing
Working within an exciting and fast paced environment, you will be a key member of our production team and will ensure the service we provide to our customer is of exceptional quality. The role can be physically demanding with a good amount of pushing, pulling and lifting involved.
Task Will Involve
- Batching up of ingredients from a recipe sheet and accurate recording of traceability information.
- Control of use by dates of materials and recording of issues.
- Handling of hot liquids with the required PPE.
- Completing critical checks and filling out paperwork accurately.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Working as part of a team in a chilled and noisy environment.
What We’re Looking For
Full training will be provided if successful in this role but we are looking for the following knowledge and experience:
- Comfortable with handling, preparing food and ideally have experience of working in a food manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable with standing for long periods of time, lifting and carrying, as well as other tasks such as cleaning.
- Pride in the quality of the products produced.
- A great team player - respectful and appreciative towards our Greencore Family.
- Friendly, honest, and hardworking with a sense of fun at work!
- Basic understanding of health & safety and food hygiene (training will be given).
- Accurate set up of pasta machinery and making of mixes.
- Running and monitoring of machinery.
- Supplying pasta to the high-risk assembly department.
- Good level of English and Maths.
